Fair Bucks & More


What you should know before you arrive at the Fair

You can recycle your electronic items that are no longer being used. Bring those old computers, printers, scanners, etc. Do not bring cathrode ray tube televisions (those heavy sets w/ glass picture tube)

You may want to bring a cooler to protect perishable purchases from the heat.

Bring your own water and/or food if you wish.

Experts will be available to identify plants and insects. Bring your unidentified specimens.

We will provide chairs w/ hard backs and hard bottom. If you need more comfort, bring your own chairs.

FairBucks are a local currency used during the fair and within the fair on June 26, 2010 only. They can be spent with any vendor at the fair on a 1 FairBuck = $1.00 basis.

You may be awarded FairBucks worth $1.00 each for the following actions:

Carpooling – when a vehicle contains four paying adults (age 12 and up), each passenger receives 1 FairBuck and the driver receives 1 more.

Ride your bicycle and receive 3 Fairbucks.
