If traveling south on I-465 on the east side of Indianapolis, right at exit 49. Stay to the right and merge with Old U.S. 421, continue northwest (towards Indianapolis) for about 0.9 mile, then turn left, cross incoming traffic lane on U.S. 421 and then left on Southeastern. (this is 2 left turns amounting to a wide u-turn.)

Now you will be traveling southeast on Southeastern Ave. Cross over the interstate and turn left on Troy (a building with HA Waterman sign on it). Another 0.4 mile and turn left into the fairgrounds just before you get to the chain link fence.

If traveling east on I-465 on the south side of Indianapolis, take exit 49 toward Southeastern Ave. This curves around to the left and merges with old U.S. 421. Go northwest about 0.9 mile and turn left, cross incoming traffic lane on U.S. 421 and then left on Southeastern. (this is 2 left turns amounting to a wide u-turn.)
